Mareuil-le-Port is located in the Marne Valley, 20 km west of Épernay , the seat of the sub-prefecture . The municipality consists of the three localities Mareuil-le-Port, Port-à-Binson and Cerseuil.

history

Archaeological finds prove a Neolithic settlement in the area. There was a Roman settlement in the area of ​​Port-à-Binson.
