Louvois is a former commune in the French Marne department in the Grand Est administrative region . The village was merged with Tauxières-Mutry to form the Commune nouvelle Val de Livre with effect from January 1, 2016 . Neighboring towns of Louvois are Ludes in the north-west, Mailly-Champagne and Verzenay in the north, Verzy in the north-east, Ambonnay in the east, Bouzy in the south-east, Tours-sur-Marne in the south and Fontaine-sur-Ay and Ville-en-Selve in the west.
