Pulpit Champeaux (Ille-et-Vilaine)
The pulpit in the Catholic Church of Ste-Marie-Madeleine in Champeaux , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany , was created in the first half of the 18th century. The pulpit was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1984 as Monument historique .
The oak pulpit has a sound cover, which is decorated with flames at the corners and crowned by a cross.
On the pulpit is Mary Magdalene , surrounded by tears and represented with her attribute , the ointment vessel. The pulpit is accessible through an outside staircase.
