Pulpit in Moutiers

The pulpit in the Catholic Church of St-Martin in Moutiers , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created in 1786. The pulpit was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1951 as Monument historique .

The oak pulpit is adorned with a sound cover with an attached crown and crowned by an angel with a trumpet making music. Carved lilies and shamrocks alternate. A dove is attached to the bottom as a symbol of the Holy Spirit .

The pulpit and the stair cladding are decorated with floral carvings and shells.
