Karen Cliche

Karen Cliche (born July 22, 1976 in Sept-Îles , Quebec ) is a Canadian actress .

Life and accomplishments

Cliche, daughter of a soldier, lived in different places as a child. She grew up with her mother in Montreal . At times she worked as a model ; after some time she dropped out of her psychology studies at Concordia University .

The actress made her debut opposite Adam Baldwin in the Canadian-Australian television thriller Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from 1999. In the thriller Wrong Number (2001) she starred alongside Eric Roberts , in the thriller Dorian - Pact with the Devil (2001) she played a larger role alongside Malcolm McDowell . In the action film Riders (2002) she played alongside Stephen Dorff a member of the group of extreme athletes who carry out bank robberies. She later appeared in a number of television series such as Adventure Inc. - Hunters of Forgotten Treasures (2002 to 2003) and Mutant X (2003 to 2004) - the second of these series was nominated for the Saturn Award in 2003 for Best Series for Cable TV . For appearances in the television series The Business in 2006, Cliche was nominated for the Gemini Award in 2007 along with a number of other participants .

Cliche has been married to Brian Mellersh since September 24, 2005. Their daughter was born on January 6, 2010.
