Karin Bachmann

Karin Bachmann (born May 24, 1969 in Biel ) is a bilingual Swiss writer . She lives in Pieterlen near Biel.

Life

She published her first story at the age of eighteen in the SJW Verlag , and in 2011 her ninth SJW issue Hazardous Silence was published . Your SJW booklets have been translated into Romansh and also published in Braille . After spending several months in New Zealand , she began writing in English in 1995. Her texts have been published in “Writing Magazine” and “AQUILA Children's Magazine”. She writes some of her texts in two languages. She first published The Venetian Pearls in English and then translated it into German. She also runs her blog in two languages. In 2013, as a representative of the Autillus Association , she was a member of the jury for the first “Baar Raven”, the sponsorship award for children's and youth literature from the city of Baar . In 2014 she won the “Writing for children competition” at the Swanwick Writers' Summer School in Derbyshire , England, with the short story Shambles . Bachmann lives in Pieterlen.
