Karin Lissel (born May 25, 1987 ) is a former Swedish soccer player .
Career
Lissel started playing football at Forssa BK . About the second division Ornäs BK , for which she ran four seasons, she came to Hammarby IF before the 2008 season . In the Damallsvenskan, she immediately established herself as a regular player, whereupon she was appointed to the Swedish U-23 team for the first time in the following season . After Stina Segerström was injured, national coach Thomas Dennerby called her in the summer of 2009 as a replacement for the Swedish national team . On July 19, she celebrated her debut in the national jersey in a 2-0 win over the Chinese national team in the preparation game for the 2009 European Championships . At first she was not part of the final squad for the final tournament. After Linda Sembrant's cancellation due to injury, she moved up on August 14th. After three years at Tyresö FF, she left the club at the end of 2013. The defender made her debut in Damallsvenskan in 2008 and ended her active career in January 2014 to concentrate on her studies.
