Karin Resetarits (* 15. December 1961 at Vienna as Karin Müller ) is an Austrian journalist and politician ( LIF ).

education and profession

Karin Kraml attended the primary school of the school sisters in Friesgasse in Vienna from 1968 to 1972 and then switched to the school sisters' grammar school there. Kraml attended senior high school in Huntington (New York) from 1978 to 1979 and completed her education in 1980 with the Matura at the AHS of the school sisters.

Between 1980 and 2003 Kraml worked as an editor at ORF and moderated the programs Without Muzzle , Zeit im Bild and Treffpunkt Kultur . From 2003 to 2004 she was a presenter at KroneHit -Radio, and from 1980 she also worked as a freelance presenter, journalist and author. In 2004 she opened a restaurant and is a partner in Marx Restauration GmbH. She has been working for Servus TV and Servus Krone as a director and journalist since 2015 .

politics

In the 2004 European elections , she moved into second place on the Martin list in the EU Parliament. On June 8, 2005, she moved to the Liberals of ALDE and the LIF . In the 2008 National Council election , Kraml ran unsuccessfully as the top candidate in Salzburg . In 2009 she made it possible for the Young Liberals of Austria and their top candidate Hannes Müllner to run for the EU elections in Austria by signing them as Member of the European Parliament .

Private

Karin Kraml was married to Peter Resetarits , the brother of Lukas and Willi Resetarits , and also had his last name. In 2010 she married the producer of her show Absolut Resetarits , Martin Kraml. She has five children and lives in the Lower Austrian community of Neustift-Innermanzing .
