Peter Resetarits (2015)

Peter Resetarits (born February 23, 1960 in Vienna ) is an Austrian lawyer, journalist and moderator .

Life

Peter Resetarits studied law and became a moderator at ORF while still a student . His first presentations were in Muzzled and other youth programs.

He completed his legal practice at various Viennese courts. From 1987 onwards, more than 150 reports were created for the domestic report.

He made his best-known reports from 1995 for the Am Schauplatz series . In the Schauplatzgericht series , he repeatedly tries to portray exemplary legal cases from everyday life.

Since 2007, he hosted the weekly show Bürgeranwalt (formerly Ombudsman - Equal rights for all ), where individual cases to one of the Ombudsmen are brought discussed in public and so frequently can be effectively solved for those affected.

In 2014 he moderated the ORF summer talks with all party leaders of the parliamentary groups represented.

Private

He was married to the former presenter and politician Karin Resetarits , from this marriage two sons come. He has been married to journalist Claudia Schanza since 2006. Peter Resetarits is the youngest brother of cabaret artist and singer Willi Resetarits ( Ostbahn-Kurti ) and cabaret artist and actor Lukas Resetarits , they are Burgenland Croatians .
