Karl-Heinrich Barthel

Karl-Heinrich Barthel (born August 23, 1905 in Neubrandenburg , † after 1963) was a German doctor and politician ( NSDAP , NDPD ).

Life

Karl-Heinrich Barthel was born the son of a primary school teacher and graduated from the state high school in Neubrandenburg in 1924. From 1924 to 1926 he studied medicine at the University of Jena and from 1926 to 1929 in Berlin. In 1935 he passed the state medical examination. In 1936 he received his doctorate in Berlin to Dr. med. with the dissertation, printed in 1936, on the measures for safeguarding and improving in the fight against addictive diseases . After practical work at the University Policlinic and at the Institute for Legal Medicine, he joined the public health service in 1936 and passed the district doctor examination in 1938 . He was then head of the health authorities in Aurich , Fraustadt , Jauer and Glogau . Barthel joined the NSDAP on August 1, 1932, became a Sanitätssturmbannführer of the SA , district trainer and district speaker of the NSDAP. From 1938 to 1941 he was chairman of the NSDAP district party court in Fraustadt, after which he moved to Jauer in this position. He stayed there until 1942.

After the Second World War , Barthel worked as a doctor in the Polish district hospital in Głogów from 1945 to 1947. In 1947 Barthel settled in Bernburg , where he worked as a general practitioner until 1951. He joined the NDPD in 1948 and became the founder of the Bernburg district association . In 1951 Barthel became a district doctor and specialist in social hygiene at the Wittenberg district council . From 1954 he was a member of the Halle District Assembly and successor candidate for the NDPD and from 1956 to 1963 a member of the People's Chamber .
