Karl-Joachim Blume

Karl-Joachim Blume (born March 19, 1946 in Schönebeck (Elbe) ) is a German farmer and former functionary of the GDR block party DBD . He was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

Life

The son of a farmer learned the profession of agricultural technician after attending secondary school with a high school diploma. From 1965 to 1970 he studied at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg with a degree in agriculture. He became a member of the DBD in 1968. From 1970 to 1972 he worked as an agronomist at VEG Tierzucht Barby and from 1972 to 1978 as production manager of the Cooperative Plant Production Department (KAP) Barby. From 1978 he was production manager of LPG (plant production) Barby. In 1977/78 he studied at the University of Agriculture in Bernburg , graduating as a specialist engineer. From 1982 to 1990 he was a member of the party executive committee of the DBD. From 1986 to 1990 he was a member of the DBD Group deputy of the People's Chamber and a member of the Committee for industry, construction and transport. In February 1990 he succeeded the late Heinz List as chairman of LPG (P) Barby and chairman of the DBD district board at Schönebeck. In the local elections on May 6, 1990, he was elected as a member of the DBD in the Schönebeck district assembly.
