Karl Adolf Maximilian Edler von der Planitz (born March 21, 1793 in Kranichau , † November 14, 1858 in Böhlen ) was a Saxon major general .

Life

Karl Adolf Maximilian comes from the old Vogtland family von der Planitz . He was the son of Karl August Rudolf Edler von der Planitz (1762–1798), who was the lord of Kranichau and Plohn . On June 21, 1823 he married in Grimma Wilhelmine Freiin von Lobkowitz from the Böhlen house (1800–1848).

In 1847, Planitz was a colonel in command of the Saxon cavalry regiment in Dresden.
