Karl Fabricius (born September 29, 1982 in Boden ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Luleå HF in the Elitserien since 2012 .

Career

Karl Fabricius began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of Luleå HF , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Elitserien , the top Swedish division, in the 2000/01 season . In his rookie year , the winger played a total of 39 games. He also started the following season at Luleå HF and finished it at Bodens IK and Kiruna IF in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan . After he had scored 26 scorer points in 41 games for the second division Piteå HC in the 2002/03 season , including 14 goals, the left-shooter was again committed by Luleå HF, where he was a regular in the Elitserien from 2003 to 2006. He then ran for three years for its league rivals Frölunda HC before returning to Luleå HF for another two years.

For the 2011/12 season Fabricius signed a contract with HC Lev Poprad from the Continental Hockey League , for which he completed 41 KHL games before returning to his home club in 2012.

Since 2014 he has been assistant captain of Luleå HF.

International

Fabricius took part in the 2008 World Cup for Sweden . In the course of the tournament he scored one goal in nine games and gave three assists.
