Karl Friedrich Pfau

Karl Friedrich Pfau alias Erich Blum (born March 15, 1857 in Zwenkau , † April 14, 1939 in Leipzig ) was a German publisher and writer .

Life

Pfau was an apprentice at FA Brockhaus in Leipzig. From 1876 to 1882 he worked in Strasbourg , Heidelberg , Stuttgart and Dresden . From 1884 he was an independent bookseller and later a publisher in Leipzig.

He wrote 59 articles for the Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie .
