Karl Friedrich Treitschke
Karl Friedrich Treitschke (born June 4, 1746 in Leipzig , † May 22, 1804 in Dresden ) was a German legal scholar.
Career
Treitschke came from a Leipzig merchant family. His father George Friedrich Treitschke (1710–1786) was a merchant and trader, councilor and master builder in Leipzig. After graduating from high school, Treitschke enrolled in 1766 to study law at the University of Leipzig and in 1769 at the University of Göttingen . He earned his doctorate in law in 1772 at the University of Leipzig. Then he worked as a private lecturer. He has written publications on legal topics. With additional financial support from his father, Treitschke made journeys that took him for a long time in fields of law and law. a. led to Wetzlar , Regensburg and Vienna .
In 1778, the Saxon Elector Friedrich August III., Later King Friedrich August I , brought Treitschke to his court in Dresden. There he worked in his cabinet as an electoral court and judiciary. Representing the state government of the Electorate of Saxony at the Imperial Court of Justice in Wetzlar was also part of his area of responsibility . In Wetzlar in particular, Treitschke had gained legal experience through his previous trips. Karl Friedrich Treitschke died on May 22, 1804 in Dresden.
Karl Friedrich Treitschke left three sons, of whom Franz Adolph and Eduard Heinrich were raised to the hereditary nobility by King Friedrich August I on July 25, 1821, around two decades after his death. The text of the nobility diploma issued to the brothers on September 12, 1821 also shows the monarch's esteem for Karl Friedrich Treitschke. It contains the note that the ennoblement of the Treitschke brothers "... also in the main memory of the court and judiciary dr. Treitschke and loyal and useful service rendered over many years ”.

In 1783 Karl Friedrich Treitschke married Friederike Elenore Charlotte Lindemann (1761–1802), daughter of Karl Ferdinand Lindemann (1714–1782), Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce in Dresden and member of the Restoration Commission . They had eight children:
