Karl Friedrich von Güldenstubbe (born August 14, 1816 in Sall near Arensburg , † March 1862 in Rome ) was land marshal of the island of Ösel in Livonia from 1849 to 1862 .

Life

After his studies of law Karl Friedrich was from Güldenstubbe Assessor at the Livonian Hofgericht . From 1849 to 1862 he was Land Marshal von Ösel and since 1861 co-director of the Society for History and Archeology in Riga . The Murratz and Koiküll estates on Ösel were among his possessions.

Karl Friedrich von Güldenstubbe came from the Baltic-Swedish aristocratic family Güldenstubbe , who lived on the Livonian island of Ösel between the 18th and 19th centuries. His grandfather was the noble marshal Carl Gustav von Güldenstubbe (1739 - 1814), his parents were the judge at the regional court and consistorial president Alexander Georg Anton von Güldenstubbe (* 1786, † 1848 in Rome), who with Annette von Vietinghoff (* 1794, † 1843 in Heidelberg ) was married. Karl Friedrich's younger brother was the philosopher and esotericist Johann Ludwig von Güldenstubbe (* 1817, † 1873 in Paris ). Karl Friedrich was married to Elisabeth von Saß (* 1830, † 1880 in Leipzig ), they had no descendants.
