Karl Heinrich Anton von Ascheberg zu Venne (* July 31, 1718 in Venne ; † July 12, 1760 in Münster ) was canon in the East Westphalian city ​​of Minden and in the Westphalian city ​​of Münster.

Life

Karl Heinrich Anton von Ascheberg zu Venne grew up as the son of Johann Matthias von Ascheberg and his wife Katharina Agnes Elisabeth von Lipperheide zu Ihorst and Buddenberg (1682–1729) with his siblings Anna Agnes Johanna Josepha († 1766, Dean of Nottuln Abbey), Anna Angela (∞ Friederich Christian Heidenreich Theodor von Beverförde), Ernst Friedrich (Amtsdroste and real district administrator) and Johann Matthias (Canon in Münster) in the ancient Westphalian noble family von Ascheberg .

With the receipt of the tonsure on July 28, 1729, Karl Heinrich Anton was prepared for a spiritual life. End of 1729 he received a Dompräbende in Minden and in 1737 by papal commission a stipend in Munster . Karl Heinrich was ordained a priest and worked as chief foreman. In 1760 he renounced his prebends in favor of his nephew Johann Matthias Kaspar . He was buried in the cathedral in Münster.
