Karl Hoppenstedt (politician)

Karl Rudolph Ludwig Christoph Hoppenstedt (born August 10, 1800 in Stolzenau , † November 5, 1883 in Hanover ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Hoppenstedt studied law at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from 1820 to 1822 . After various auxiliary activities in Herzberg , Hildesheim , Steuerwald and Marienburg , he was government councilor in the Ministry of the Interior of the Kingdom of Hanover from 1831 to 1849 , governor in Lauenburg from 1849/50 , government councilor in Wöltingerode from 1850 , the same in Burgwedel from 1863 and finally again in Wöltingerode. From 1863 to 1866 he was also a Privy Councilor in the Hanover State Council .

From March 23, 1849 to May 15, 1849 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly for Hanover in the Augsburger Hof fraction . In 1853 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates Assembly of the Kingdom of Hanover .
