Life

Alberty began an apprenticeship in a fashion store after leaving school and was then an amateur boxer in the middleweight class . However, he soon became enthusiastic about acting and was on stage for the first time at the Stadttheater Konstanz in August 1959 .

In November 1960 he moved to Berlin. In the same year he received his first film role in Géza von Radványis And Something Called Life . From 1962 he shot a lot abroad, never being cast for leading roles, but only for supporting roles .

With his compact physique and his blond hair, Alberty corresponded to the cliché image of the evil Nazi and played roles as an SS member in numerous film and TV productions ( Broken Chains , 1963, Brennt Paris?, 1966, Shock Troop Gold , 1970), Wehrmacht officer ( Battle of Britain , 1969) or Gestapo man ( The Firestorm , 1983). After 1989 Alberty no longer appeared as a film or TV actor.
