Karl Peukert (born January 28, 1903 in Riedenburg , district of Salzburg , † April 7, 1965 in Meran ) was an Austrian - German actor and emcee .

Life

Karl Peukert stood in front of a camera for the first time in a film production in 1929 and played the role of Dr. in the silent film Miss Evelyne, Die Badefee. med. Freytag . In the late 1920s / early 1930s he was also the prince carnival of the Munich society Narrhalla in the Munich carnival . In the further course of the 1930s he worked many times as a conférencier. In 1936 there were appearances in the Berlin winter garden . In the post-war years, too, the conference was a focus of his activities. In 1950 and 1952 he could be seen in Hamburg with appearances by Marika Rökk as an emcee.

In the 1950s he also appeared as an actor at the Hamburg Thalia Theater and the Deutsches Theater in Munich.

From 1954 Karl Peukert worked as a folk actor in several film and television productions . In 1954 he played a mayor in a film adaptation of the comedy The Sinful Village with Joe Stöckel , Günther Lüders and Beppo Brem, directed by Ferdinand Dörfler . He also embodied popular roles in the television series Der Komödienstadel and was seen in episodes of the television series Funkstreife Isar 12 and Der Nachtkurier reports .

In addition, Karl Peukert was occasionally active as a radio play speaker. In addition, he spoke on a record, among other things, the very well-known satire of the Bavarian writer Ludwig Thoma Der Münchner im Himmel .

Together with Michl Ehbauer he portrayed the Munich Frauenturmgeister Xaverius and Ambrosius . Both performed with these roles at the traditional strong beer tasting on the Nockherberg .

Karl Peukert died on April 7, 1965 in Merano while on vacation.
