Karl Scheydt

Karl Emil "Charly" Scheydt (born February 5, 1940 ; † April 30, 2009 ) was a German actor, assistant director, production manager, unit manager, sound engineer, lighting engineer, outfitter and cameraman.

Live and act

Karl Scheydt's career began in 1970/71 with Rainer Werner Fassbinder's films Niklashauser Fart , The American Soldier , Warning of a Holy Whore and Merchant of the Four Seasons . Many more films followed as an actor, directed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, as well as members of his camera and production staff. Scheydt also played in films by Fassbinder friends Ulli Lommel and Peer Raben . After the death of Fassbinder, Karl Scheydt's career took a quieter course.
