Karl Gottlieb von Wiedebach and Nostitz-Jänkendorf (born April 18, 1844 in Arnsdorf , Görlitz district , Upper Lusatia , †  October 24, 1910 in Görlitz ) was governor of the Prussian margravate of Upper Lusatia and a politician.

family

He came from the old Lusatian noble family von Wiedebach , first mentioned in a document with Bartoldus de Widebache in 1232, and was the son of the landlord and state elder Karl von Wiedebach and Nostitz-Jänkendorf (1810–1873) and Anna Juliane Freiin von Ungern- Sternberg (1818-1900). On August 6, 1834, father Karl achieved the name and coat of arms association for himself and his descendants with " von Nostitz and Jänkendorf ".

Wiedebach married on June 12, 1872 at Gut Mansbach near Hohenroda ( Hesse ) Marie von und zu Mansbach (born November 21, 1851 in Berlin ; † October 17, 1928 in Görlitz), the daughter of the royal Swedish chamberlain Adalbert von und zu Mansbach , Landlord on Bodenhausen, and Helene von Motz .

A younger brother was the governor Paul von Wiedebach and Nostitz-Jänkendorf (1848-1923).

Life

Wiedebach was a royal Prussian cavalry captain , entrant commissioner of Wiesa and Thiemendorf , with his brother Kurt von Wiedebach and Nostitz-Jänkendorf (1851–1906) co-lord of Beitzsch and Grötzsch, district of Guben, Niederlausitz , governor of the Prussian margraviate of Oberlausitz, member of the Prussian manor house for life as well as legal knight of the Order of St. John .
