Karla Nina Diedrich (born August 12, 1983 in East Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Karla Nina Diedrich grew up in East Berlin and went to school in Sweden . Even as a child, her good perception and language skills were encouraged; at the age of five she learned Polish as a job after kindergarten.

During elementary school, she and her brother played her first leading child role in the television film Weiß wie Schnee, Rot wie Blut, the Ziegler film by Bernd Böhlich . Shortly thereafter she played a leading role in the episode in Die Kids von Berlin-Der verlorene Sohn , directed by Markus Imboden .

Later she became a member of the ensemble of the Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin and took part in several Christmas musicals. At the age of 17 she moved to Sweden and lived there for 3 years.

In 2004 she moved to Denmark to attend the European Film College in Ebeltoft . There she made her first short films, one of the 15 graduation films, and continued to concentrate on the performing arts.

In 2006 she played in the music video Das absolute Glück by Peter Licht and became known to a wider audience there. This was followed by appearances at SOKO Leipzig ( last will , director: Jörg Mielich), the German Mumblecore film Am Ende der Straße by Nils Strüven, the series Jugendliebe with Inka Brause, the DFFB film Skinny Love by Janin Halisch, which is on 46. International Hof Film Festival premiered. She is also known from the Coke Zero commercial with Manuel Neuer .

She gained theater experience at La dernière Crise by Vanessa Stern in the Sophiensælen, where she wrote her own comic monologue, as well as with Hilda von Benjamin Kiss im Hau and at the Brecht Festival in Augsburg.

She has been commuting between Denmark and Germany since 2013, speaks fluent Danish and has worked in Danish film productions.

In 2016 she played In all Friendship - The Young Doctors as the leading role in the episode, directed by Dieter Laske and in Der Kriminalist , directed by Theresa von Eltz.

The play "Makembo!" by Micki Weinberg, in which Karla Nina plays one of the leading roles, premiered in 2016 at the ID Festival in Radialsystem Berlin.
