Karma is an alternative hip-hop - songs with influences from R & B , rap and classical music from the US R & B / Soul - singer Alicia Keys from her second studio album The Diary of Alicia Keys from 2003. The song was Alicia Keys written and produced in-house. It was released as the last single on the album in October 2004 . In the charts, it reached number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 . There is also another version of the song called Karmastition .

Music video

Keys and Chris Robinson directed the music video . Production locations were New York City and La Romana . At the MTV Video Music Awards 2005 the video in the category won Best R & B Video .
