Karma is the fifth studio album released in 2009 by the American hard rock band Winger . It was included in the list of albums of 2009 by the editors of Rocks magazine and received worldwide recognition.
background
After her comeback in 2006, Winger had received positive feedback with album IV . In 2007 the group released the double albums Demo Anthology and Winger Live on their new label Frontiers Records , before the band went into the studio in 2008 to record a new album.
With the title First Ending , the European edition of the CD contained an instrumental piece.

Jenny Rönnebeck wrote for Rock Hard that with her reunion album “IV” Winger had already taken “a step away from what she likes to call fabric softener sound” to “extremely guitar-heavy up-tempo rock” . Reb Beach is “a real size on the strings” and shapes tracks like Stone Cold Killer and the powerful Pull Me Under , while the groovy Come A Little Closer , the slow Supernova or the moderate Always Within Me “clearly reflect the expressive vocals of the band boss Kip Winger “ had been adjusted . The absolute highlights on the album are the bluesy After All This Time and the bombastic Witness , where both musicians shone.
