Better Days Comin ' is the sixth studio album by the US hard rock band Winger , released in 2014 . It is the 2013 deceased engineer Mike Shipley falls to the 1993 published Winger album Pull produced had.

After her comeback in 2006, Winger had a positive response with album IV and expanded the newly acquired status with the album Karma , released in 2009 . Karma was named to the list of albums of 2009 by the editors of Rocks magazine and received worldwide acclaim.

Because of the various other commitments the Winger members have now taken on (Reb Beach is guitarist with Whitesnake , John Roth plays with Starship , and Rod Morgenstein teaches at Berklee College of Music ), five passed between the production of Karma and Better Days Comic Years. Under the direction of singer, bassist and producer Kip Winger, the band recorded the album at Rising Sun Studios in Nashville. In addition to the band members, guest musicians were also involved in the recordings: Cenk Eroglu contributed keyboards and sound effects, Paula Winger sang on So Long China, Marco Giovino played percussion instruments on Better Days Comin ' , and the barking of Kip Winger's dog is on the title track, so that it was also mentioned in the credits .

The ten-track album was released in Europe on April 18, 2014, and a deluxe edition with bonus track was also released. The enclosed DVD contains music videos for Rat Race and the theme song as well as the 32-minute film The Making of Better Days Comin '.

During and on the occasion of the COVID-19 pandemic , the group released a newly recorded music video of the theme song in April 2020 , which fans of the band and numerous artists had participated in the recording and creation. Better Days Comin ' debuted on the Billboard 200 album charts at number 85 in May 2014. It was the first chart entry since the 1993 album Pull , which reached number 83.
