Karolina Batożyńska (born September 26, 1993 in Warsaw ) is a Polish biathlete .

Karolina Batożyńska is a student. She lives and trains in her hometown Warsaw. The athlete from BKS WP-Koscielisko started biathlon in 2007 and has been part of the Polish national team since 2010. She is trained by Adam Kolodziejzyk.

Batożyńska made her international debut in 2010 in Nové Město na Moravě as part of the junior races of the IBU Summer Cup . A little later she took part in the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2010 in Duszniki-Zdrój and finished 26th in the sprint and 31st in the pursuit. This was followed by the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě, where the Pole was 53rd in the individual, 49th in the sprint, 37th in the pursuit and eleventh in the relay. In the same place she was able to finish 34th in the sprint and 27th in the pursuit on roller skis at the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2011 . In 2012 she started at the junior races of the European Championships in Osrblie and was 34th in the individual, 27th in the sprint, 26th in the pursuit and 12th in the mixed relay. This was followed by the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2012 in Kontiolahti , in which she was 44th in the sprint, 32nd in the pursuit, tenth in the individual and with Maria Bukowska and Monika Hojnisz seventh in the relay race. A year later she was 45th in the individual, 50th in the sprint, 47th in the pursuit race and 12th with the Polish relay in Obertilliach .

For women, Batożyńska made her debut in the IBU Cup at the start of the 2012/13 season , but finished her sprint race in Idre before the first shooting. In Beitostølen she reached the finish line for the first time as 66th of an individual, and it is also her best result in the racing series so far.

Batożyńska achieved her greatest national success at the end of December in the first races for the Polish Biathlon Championships 2013 in Jakuszyce . In the pursuit race she was ninth, the relay race she won on the side of Krystyna Pałka , Patrycja Hojnisz and Paulina Bobak as a representative of the AZS AWF Katowice .
