Patrycja Hojnisz (born October 12, 1987 in Chorzów ) is a Polish biathlete .

Patrycja Hojnisz is a student and lives in Chorzów. She started biathlon in 2001 and moved up to the Polish national team in 2005. Hojnisz competes for AZS AWF Katowice and is trained by Malwina Wojtas. Since the beginning of the 2005/06 season she has been running in the European Junior Biathlon Cup and mostly achieved results in the ranks 15 to 40, there were seldom outliers up or down in performance. The first highlight was the 2007 Winter Universiade in Cesana San Sicario , where Hojnisz was 27th in the individual, 37th in the sprint and 33rd in the pursuit. This was followed by participation in the Junior Biathlon European Championships 2007 in Bansko with the ranks 28 in the individual, 34 in the sprint and 30 in the pursuit. In 2008, the Pole took part in the Junior World Championships for the only time. At the competitions in Ruhpolding she reached 46th place in the individual, 25th in the sprint, 21st in the pursuit and 12th with the relay of Poland. Shortly thereafter, Hojnisz took part in the Junior European Championships in Nové Město na Moravě and was 43 of the individual, 53 of the sprint 36th in the pursuit and eighth in the relay, which also included her sister Monika Hojnisz .

Since 2009 , Hojnisz has started with women in the performance area. She competed in her first race in Altenberg as part of the IBU Cup and finished 31st in an individual, winning her first points straight away. In Osrblie , she achieved her best result so far in the second highest racing series with 13th place in another individual. The first major event outside of the junior sector was the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . Hojnisz was used in all individual races and finished 30th in the sprint and 27th in the pursuit and individual. The following year she took part in all kinds of European championships in Otepää . In the individual, she ran to 32nd place, was 43rd in the sprint, 36th in the pursuit and seventh with Paulina Bobak , Monika Hojnisz and Karolina Pitoń .

Nationally, Hojnisz won the Polish championship in Wisła with Paulina Bobak, Krystyna Pałka and Weronika Nowakowska with their club AZS AWF Katowice in the Polish championship in the relay race in 2009 . For the 2010/11 season, Hojnisz belongs to the Polish national team and is number eight in the ranking of active Polish biathletes.
