Karsten Dörr

Karsten Dörr (born May 18, 1964 in Lörrach ) is a German-speaking actor .

Life

Karsten Dörr grew up in Basel. He began his artistic career in 1983 as an assistant director at the local theater . From 1984 to 1988 he studied acting at the Conservatory for Music and Theater in Bern. He also worked as a presenter for Swiss radio DRS . Dörr played in Bern and at the Freiburg Theater , from 1988 to 1992 he had an engagement at the Aachen Theater , and has been a freelance worker ever since.

Dörr has been a frequent guest on television and on the screen since the early 1990s. In addition to episode roles in various series and the crime scene series , he was in 13 episodes of the hospital series Hello, Uncle Doc! to see, in 97 episodes of the crime series Die Wache , he played the role of Frank Ruland . Dörr also achieved great popularity with the character of Bernhard Faller , whom he has played with interruptions since 1994 in the series Die Fallers .

In the same role, Dörr appeared in 2003 in the radio play Die Fallers or Wirren im Stollen .
