tasks
The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan is a central executive body for the implementation of state policy in the field of defense and the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan .
As stipulated in a military doctrine, the armed forces are commanded in peacetime by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the General Staff .
The Ministry of Defense solves problems related to national defense, develops concepts for the construction and development of the armed forces as well as other troops and military units.
It coordinates the development of a national program for the development of weapons and military equipment and provides logistical support for the armed forces and organizes cooperation with state authorities on national defense issues.
