The Kazakh Armed Forces ( Kazakh Қазақстан Республикасы қарулы күштері , Russian Вооружённые силы Республики Казахстан ) with a strength of 45,000 soldiers include the military services Army , Air Force and Navy . They are subordinate to the Kazakh Ministry of Defense . As a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization , Kazakhstan receives military aid from Russia in the event of war.
