Kaspar Michel
Kaspar Michel (born July 16, 1970 in Lachen , entitled to live in Netstal and Glarus ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).
Michel studied Swiss history and political science and graduated with a licentiate . Until his election to the government council , he was the state archivist of the Canton of Schwyz . After an unsuccessful candidate for a government council member in 2008, he tried to win the seat of the CVP in the 2010 replacement elections . In the second ballot, he was elected to succeed Georg Hess (CVP) in the Schwyz government council and took up the post of finance director on October 1, 2010. From July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020, he was the governor of the government council.
He is married, has two children and lives in Rickenbach in the Schwyz municipality .
