Kasparsbrunnen-Ried-Binn is a nature reserve in the area of ​​the Baden-Württemberg communities Aidlingen and Grafenau in the district of Böblingen .

Characteristics

The area was designated as a nature reserve by ordinance of the Stuttgart regional council of December 23, 1988 and has a size of 53.2 hectares. It is listed under the protected area number 1.157. The CDDA code for the nature reserve is 164032 and corresponds to the WDPA ID .

location

The protected area is located south of Dätzingen in the Würmtal and extends to the Lehenweiler district of the Aidlingen community. It is located in the natural area 122 - Obere Gäue within the natural spatial main unit 12 - Gäuplatten in the Neckar and Tauberland . It borders the landscape protection areas 1.15.088 Grafenau (north) and 1.15.091 Aidlingen (south) and lies entirely in the 851 hectare FFH area No. 7319-341 Gäulandschaft on the Würm .

Protection purpose

The purpose of protection is

  • the maintenance, protection and restoration of a meadow landscape with used and unused areas in an environmentally friendly manner,
  • safeguarding and promoting the ecological diversity of the valley floodplains, the hillside meadows and pastures with all landscape elements,
  • maintaining and securing the natural dynamics of the Würm,
  • the maintenance of step-free brook banks and undisturbed vegetation zones in the non-cultivated floodplains and thus the safeguarding of undisturbed vegetation development,
  • the preservation, safeguarding and renewal of water as a natural asset and protection against impairments of any kind such as changing the use of grassland, opening the soil, fertilization outside of the growing season.
