The FFH area Gäulandschaft an der Würm is a protected area (protected area identifier DE-7319-341) in the German state of Baden-Württemberg that was registered in 2005 by the Stuttgart regional council in accordance with Directive 92/43 / EEC (Fauna-Flora-Habitat Directive) . With the ordinance of the regional council of Stuttgart on the definition of areas of community importance of October 30, 2018, the protected area was established.
location
The widely scattered, 850.6 hectare protected area belongs to the natural area 122 - Obere Gäue . The area is located south of Weil der Stadt and extends over the markings of nine cities and municipalities in the districts of Böblingen and Calw:

- Ostelsheim : 59.55 ha = 7%
- Aidlingen : 306.23 ha = 36%
- Grafenau : 25.52 ha = 3%
- Magstadt : 42.53 ha = 5%
- Nufringen : 8.50 ha = 1%
- Renningen : 93.57 ha = 11%
- Sindelfingen : 8.50 ha = 1%
- Because of the city : 204.15 ha = 24%
Description and purpose of protection
Coiled shell limestone plateau with a richly structured landscape of the Heckengäus. The protected area consists of 17 sub-areas.
