The FFH area Nagolder Heckengäu is a protected area (protected area identifier DE-7518-341) in the German state of Baden-Württemberg that was registered in 2005 by the Karlsruhe Regional Council according to Directive 92/43 / EEC (Fauna-Flora-Habitat Directive) . With the ordinance of the regional council of Karlsruhe on the definition of areas of community importance of October 12, 2018, the protected area was established.

The widely scattered, 1296.2 hectare protected area belongs to the natural areas 122 - Obere Gäue and 150 - Black Forest edge plates . The area extends over the markings of nine cities and municipalities in the districts of Calw and Freudenstadt:
- Altensteig : 26.52 ha = 2.04%
- Ebhausen : 42.56 ha = 3.28%
- Egenhausen : 136.68 ha = 10.54%
- Haiterbach : 359.10 ha = 27.70%
- Nagold : 607.52 ha = 46.86%
- Rohrdorf : 118.37 ha = 9.13%
- Eutingen im Gäu : 0.81 ha = 0.06%
- Horb am Neckar : 0.60 ha = 0.04%
- Pfalzgrafenweiler : 4.06 ha = 0.31%
Description and purpose of protection
Diverse hedge- gau landscape in the crest, dents, and valley system of the Nagold / Waldach / Steinach fan. The protected area consists of 25 sub-areas.
