Kateřina Valková (born February 6, 1996 in Pilsen ) is a Czech volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Valková started her career in 2008 at SK 15. ZŠ Plzeň . At a young age she was mainly active in beach volleyball. In 2012 she took part in the U18 European Championships in Brno with Jana Forejtová . In 2013 she played with Markéta Bendíková at the U21 World Cup in Umag . In the same year she was at the European Championships of the U20 in Vilnius (with Nicole Dostálová ) and U18 in Maladsetschna (with Kristýna Adamčíková ) each fifth. At the U19 World Cup in 2014 in Porto , she finished fourth with Adamčíková and ninth with Dostálová at the U22 European Championship in 2015 in Macedo de Cavaleiros . She also played two CEV satellite tournaments. In 2016 she took part in the major tournament of the FIVB World Tour in Klagenfurt with Martina Jakubšová . On the World Tour 2017 she completed two one-star tournaments with Diana Žolnerčíková in Daegu and Ulsan .

Valková played in the hall for TJ Ostrava from 2013 to 2018 . In the 2017/18 season, the setter was third in the Czech league with the club. She then moved to PVK Olymp Prague . With the club she reached the cup semi-finals and fourth place in the extra league. In 2019 she moved to the German Bundesliga club VfB 91 Suhl .
