Kate Anderson-Richardson
Kate Anderson-Richardson (born Kate Suzanne Anderson ; born November 5, 1973 in Melbourne ) is a former Australian long-distance runner .
At the World Cross Country Championships she came in 1994 in Budapest in 108th place and in 1996 in Stellenbosch in 16th place.
Over 5000 m she was eliminated at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, finished eleventh at the 1997 World Athletics Championships in Athens and won the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. At the 1999 World Cup in Seville and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, she did not get past the first round over the same distance.
In 1996 and 1997 she was Australian champion over 5000 m, in 1997 in cross country . In 1997 she also won the Burnie Ten.
In November 1999 she married the sprinter Jason Richardson.
