The Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Campus Kortrijk (KULCK) is a campus of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Kortrijk , Belgium . It is the only university in the province of West Vlaanderen .

The university was established under the name K atholieke U niversiteit L euven A fdeling K ortrijk (KULAK). The abbreviation is still used because it is easier to pronounce. About 1200 students and 150 academic staff work on the campus, which was built in 1965. Another 100 teachers share their working time between the campus and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in the city of Leuven in the province of Flemish Brabant .
