Katinka Haltvik Blåsmo (born July 18, 1991 ) is a Norwegian handball player who belongs to the squad of the Norwegian national beach handball team.

Career

Katinka Haltvik played in the youth division of Byåsen IL from 1996 . In October 2008, the back court player made her debut in the Norwegian top division for the women's team from Byåsen IL. In 2010 she moved to Selbu IL . At Selbu she ran among others with her mother Trine Haltvik , the 1998 world handball player . From the summer of 2014 Haltvik ran for the Norwegian first division club Oppsal IF . After Haltvik was out due to an injury, she was loaned to Gjerpen IF in January 2015 until the end of the season to regain match practice. After Haltvik then ran another season for Gjerpen, she joined Aker Topphåndball . With Aker, she rose to the top Norwegian league in 2019.

Haltvik has been playing for the Norwegian national beach handball team since 2014. She won the bronze medal at the Beach Handball World Championship in 2014. A year later she won the silver medal with Norway at the European Beach Handball Championship . After Haltvik won the bronze medal at the Beach Handball World Championship again in 2016, the gold medal at the Beach Handball European Championship followed a year later. She also took part in the 2017 World Games . In 2018 she was in the final of the Beach Handball World Cup, which Norway lost to Greece in a shootout.

Haltvik won the Norwegian beach handball championship in 2016 with Utleira IL.
