Katja Wunderlich

Katja Wunderlich (* 1971 or 1972 ) is a German radio and television presenter .

Career

Wunderlich graduated from the Christian von Bomhard School in Uffenheim in 1991 .

She began her journalistic activity in 1993 as a trainee at the private radio station Radio Gong 97.1 in Nuremberg , where she worked as a presenter, news anchor and deputy program director until 1997. She has been working for Bayerischer Rundfunk since 1998 . She is currently moderating at the radio station Bayern 3 , alternating with Sascha Seelemann BAYERN 3 in the afternoon (Monday to Friday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) . She is also a singer in the Bayern 3 band.

Together with Thomas Anders, she hosted the program “Countdown for Moscow” on German television in 2009, and in 2010 she hosted the Bavarian Film Prize at the side of Christoph Süß and also acted as a host of major and exclusive events.

Since 2012, she has presented the sport on ARD Tagesthemen and has been in front of the camera on Sky Sport News HD since 2017. Katja Wunderlich was the first female stadium announcer in the Bundesliga at home games of 1. FC Nürnberg .

Katja Wunderlich also coaches in moderation and presentation.

Private

She was with Markus Othmer married, formerly also active at Bayern 3 and the Nuremberg stadium announcer and now for the ARD - Sportschau commented. She has two children with him. After 13 years of marriage, the couple separated in 2013, which Othmer did in the BR show Mensch, Otto! confirmed. She lives in Munich .
