Katrin Hill (* 29. June 1975 in Kirchzarten as Katrin Helmcke ) is a former German mountain biker , duathlete and triathlete . She is a six-time German cross-triathlon champion (2003-2005, 2007, 2008, 2010).

Career

German junior champion triathlon short distance 1995

At the Junior European Triathlon Championships in July 1995, Katrin Helmcke was third and European champion with the team. Five weeks later she became German Junior Triathlon Champion.

Since 1997 she has also competed in the Mountain Bike World Cup. In 2002 she became the "unofficial" vice world champion in the mountain bike marathon in Kaprun - the race was held as a dress rehearsal before the first real world championship.

In September 2003 she became German Cross Triathlon Champion. At the German Mountain Bike Championship she was third in the marathon in Kirchzarten in 2004 .

After her wedding and a baby break, she started as Katrin Hill in 2007 and became German cross triathlon champion for the fourth time in August.

In August 2010 the then 35-year-old won the title of national cross triathlon champion for the sixth time alongside Sebastian Kienle . It has not appeared internationally since 2010.
