Kay Martin Schmalhausen Panizo SCV (born July 27, 1964 in Lima ) is prelate of Ayaviri , Peru .
Life
Kay Martin Schmalhausen Panizo joined the religious order of the Sodalicio de Vida Cristiana and made profession on December 14, 1989 . He was ordained a priest on December 16, 1989 by the Archbishop of Medellín , Cardinal Alfonso López Trujillo . He was incarded in the diocese of Callao until February 2001 when the Pope granted the Sodalicio de Vida Cristiana the incardination of their own priests .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 18, 2006 as prelate of Ayaviri. The Archbishop of Lima, Juan Luis Cardinal Cipriani Thorne , donated him episcopal ordination on April 23 of the same year; Co - consecrators were Rino Passigato , Apostolic Nuncio in Peru , and José Antonio Eguren Anselmi SCV, Auxiliary Bishop in Lima .
