Kay Peters

Kay Peters (born before 1968) is a German business economist and professor for business administration (BWL) at the University of Hamburg .

Life

Kay Peters studied business administration at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel from 1986 to 1995 .

From 1995 to 1996 he was a research assistant for Sönke Albers at the Chair for Innovation, New Media and Marketing in Kiel .

Kay Peters received her doctorate from 2003 to 2008 with the work Essays on innovation and communication for Dr. rer. pole.

From 2003 to 2005 he was employed as a research assistant with Manfred Krafft at the Institute for Marketing of the Marketing Center Münster (MCM) at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität , Münster .

Kay Peters then acted from 2005 to 2009 as managing director of the Center for Interactive Marketing and Media Management (CIM) in the IKM eV of the same institute in Münster.

From 2009 to 2012 he completed his habilitation with Manfred Krafft at the Institute for Marketing in Münster.

Kay Peters has also been Visiting Professor or Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Davis in the United States of America (USA) since 2010 .

Finally, since 2012 he has held the SVI endowed professorship for business administration, in particular marketing and dialogue marketing at the Institute for Marketing and Media of the Hamburg Center for Health Economics at the University of Hamburg.

Research priorities

Kay Peters and his team focus on three areas of research: Customer Centricity ( CRM ), Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and International Marketing.

Since 1996, Kay Peters completed several research stays in the USA, each lasting several weeks. He was (previously) at the University of Houston , the University of Connecticut , Georgia State University and the University of California, Davis.
