action

Maxime and Mélanie, two young people living in Brussels, love each other. Clumsily, but full of attraction, the two explore their sexuality. But then Mélanie becomes pregnant and Maxime is not enthusiastic about it, because he feels too young and sees pregnancy as an obstacle to his career as a football goalkeeper. But from time to time he gets used to the thought of raising the child. But Mélanie, who is being pressured by her mother, has since changed her mind.

Rating of the film

IMDb

"Writer-director Guillaume Senez breaks the mold with Keeper; though we are deeply immersed in both Maxime's and Mélanie's experiences, the film is ultimately a refreshingly honest portrayal of a boy's transition into manhood. "

- Toronto Film Festival

“The playfully light and yet serious film avoids anything hypothetical and uses a subjective camera and numerous long shots to explore the turbulent world of emotions of authentic young people. Instead of explaining, he subtly shows what it's like to be young and to act as an adult. "
