Franklyn Keith Musto , OBE (born January 12, 1936 in Rochford , Essex ) is a former British sailor and current entrepreneur.

successes

Keith Musto took part in the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo in the Flying Dutchman boat class . Together with crew member Tony Morgan , thanks to 5556 total points, he took second place as the skipper of the Lady C behind the New Zealanders Helmer Pedersen and Earle Wells and ahead of the Americans William Bentsen and Harry Melges . The year before, Musto and Morgan were runner-up in the Flying Dutchman at Lake Starnberg . In 1969 he also secured the bronze medal with John Wigglesworth in Naples .

After the Olympic Games he founded Musto & Hyde in 1965 and worked as a sail maker. Later he concentrated exclusively on sailing clothing with Musto Limited . For his services in the textile industry, he received the Officer's Cross of the Order of the British Empire on New Year 2014 .
