Kelime Çetinkaya (born June 15, 1982 in Kars ) is a Turkish cross-country skier .

Career

Çetinkaya has been participating in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski since 2001 . At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , she finished 56th in the sprint. Her best result at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2003 in Val di Fiemme was 44th place in the 15 km mass start race. In March 2004 she ran her first World Cup race in Pragelato , which she finished in 46th place in the sprint. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf in 2005 , 66th place in the sprint was her best result. Since 2006 she has mainly participated in the Balkan Cup. She has won seven wins so far and won the overall ranking in 2007 , 2008 and 2009 . Her best placement at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Pragelato was 49th in the 30km mass start race. She reached 41st place in the 30 km mass start race at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2007 in Sapporo . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , she took 73rd place in the sprint and 69th place over 10 km classic. Her best result at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver was 53rd place in the sprint. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , it was 56th place over 10 km classic.
