Kelley Jones (born July 23, 1962 in Sacramento ) is an American comic artist .

Career

His first work for DC Comics was in 1989, Deadman: Love after Death # 1-2, written by Mike Baron . The most popular is probably his very unconventional interpretation of the character of Batman . So he drew the issues # 515-519, 521-525, 527-532 and 535-552 of the monthly Batman series, as well as the trilogy Batman / Dracula ( Batman / Dracula: Red Rain , Batman: Bloodstorm , Batman: Crimson Mist ). All of these stories were written by the author Doug Moench , the first volume of Malcolm Jones III , the last two inked by John Beatty . In addition, from 1992 to 1994 he drew various covers for the Batman and Detective Comics series , especially the expressionist covers of the famous Knightfall storyline.

His work on the Batman series was published in German by Dino Verlag . His first Batman / Dracula story and some covers were first published as albums by Carlsen Comics , the other two by Panini Comics .
