Kent County ( French Comté de Kent ) is a county in the Canadian province of New Brunswick . The county was named after Prince Edward Augustus, Duke of Kent and Strathearn (1767-1820), father of Queen Victoria . It covers an area of ​​4552.92 km². The population has been falling in recent years. In 2016 it was 30,475.
