The Kerbrandige Drüsling ( Exidia repanda ) is a fungal art of tremellomycetes from the family of the ear flap mushroom relatives (Auriculariaceae). Its yellow hyaline to cinnamon brown, rounded fruit bodies grow in small groups. They appear from May to September on rotten dead wood of birch and other deciduous trees. The species is distributed holarctic and can be found in boreal, less often temperate climates.

Macroscopic features
The notch-edged Drüsling forms gelatinous, flat and rounded fruiting bodies. They grow in small groups and do not fuse together. Their narrowed base is rooted in the substrate, the rest of the basidiocarpium lies flat on the substrate. The edge is free and frizzy to lobed, it has no eyelashes. When young, the fruiting bodies are yellowish hyaline , later cinnamon brown with a flesh brown tinge. The hymenium on the upper side is smooth and has small glandular warts, the underside is rough punctured.
Microscopic features
The hyphae structure of the Kerbrandigen glandular glandular is monomitic as in all glandular glands , so it consists only of generative hyphae. They are cylindrical, hyaline, and inamyloid .
distribution
The Kerbrandige Drüsling lives in a Holarctic species area, it has so far been found in Europe and North America. The species occurs in areas of temperate to subboreal climates , but is more likely to be found in the latter, while it is rare in the former.
ecology
Like other Drüsling, the Kerbrandige Drüsling is a saprobiont . It colonizes dead wood from deciduous trees , especially birch ( Betula spp.). The fructification takes place from May to September, very rarely in winter.
