Chiara Kerper (born September 25, 1998 in Baden , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian musician and participant in the talent show The Big Chance on Austrian Broadcasting .

biography

After taking part in several competitions such as NÖN sucht das Beste Talent , Show4Kids , SingingYoungStars and Kiddy Contest (2010/2011 semi-finalist) , she applied to the talent show “Die große Chance” in summer 2011 and made it to the semi-finals. In the second episode of the first season Chiara presented her own interpretation of the Shakira song "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" and received positive reviews from the jury, which also voted her into the semifinals. Juror Sido even called her his favorite. On YouTube, too, their recording achieved several thousand clicks within a few hours. The surprise was all the greater when she retired with the song Tik Tok (original version by Kesha ) in the first semi-final show. At the beginning of November 2011 she made her entry into the Ö3 Austria Top 40 with both songs .

Chiara Kerper lives in Ebreichsdorf ( Lower Austria ) and has been attending a grammar school in Eisenstadt since 2009 .
